Edward J. Metzler
Edward is Managing Director and co founder at Blue Group after years of consulting for Canada’s largest financial institutions, as part of Accenture Strategy’s Financial Services practice. Prior to Accenture, Edward worked in asset management at Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec (CDPQ), one of Canada’s largest pension funds with $270B+ in AUM, Edward earned his BComm. from McGill University where he studied finance and entrepreneurship.
Chief Financial Officer
Nadwa brings 10+ years’ of financial and investment management experience in hedge funds, private equity and venture capital strategies in sectors including biotechnology, real estate, technology and lifestyle/hospitality.
Nadwa started her career as an auditor at Deloitte, one of the largest accounting organizations in the world before transitioning into the investment management space as Vice President of Tang Capital Management. She holds a CPA license and a BS from the University of San Diego. Nadwa is also a member of DCM’s ICO Investment Committee.
Emma D. Lynn
Emma spent the majority of her career in the fast paced residential construction and remodeling business. It was there where she was the acting project manager for all major projects (1+ Million USD) as well as chief estimator and site supervisor. Her hands-on approach and history of executing and seeing projects through is critical to his role. Emma earned her BA from Purchase College, State University of New York.
Chief Legal Officer
George joined the Blue Group team in April 2018 and serves as its Chief Legal Officer. He has 20+ years’ legal and regulatory experience in the financial services industry, focusing primarily in the alternative investments space in support of sponsors and distributors of hedge funds, commodity funds and US-registered investment funds pursuing “liquid alts”, private equity and other non-traditional investment strategies.
Prior to joining Blue Group, George served 12+ years as General Counsel and CCO of the Altegris Companies, and before that was in-house counsel to a California-based hedge fund of funds manager. George also practiced law with Shearman & Sterling in Washington, DC., and from 1991 to 1998, was an attorney with the SEC in both the Enforcement and Investment Management Divisions.
George background also includes experience as in-house counsel for the insurance affiliate of the Investment Company Institute, the trade association for the mutual fund industry, and experience in general corporate and securities law matters with law firms .
After growing up in India, Godwin studied dual degrees of law and commerce (majoring in economics and finance) at Deakin University in Melbourne Australia and the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
Having worked as a lawyer in Banking and Finance litigation in Melbourne, Australia he arrived to London in 2011 and has been working in finance ever since.
Godwin is settled in London and also attends to clients in Cyprus and France.
